Garrett Schumann and Sara Tea of Resonant Soundscapes

Join Garrett Schumann and Sara Tea of Resonant Soundscapes for an immersive, improvised ambient performance featuring field recordings, synthesizers, and live percussion. This Make Music Day event is presented in partnership with Everyday Wines, located within the Kerrytown Shops, whose staff will be present to sell wine-by-the-glass, beer, and other beverages to attendees. The electroacoustic performance project Resonant Soundscapes was founded by Schumann, Tea, and Julie Zhu in 2024 with the goal of inviting their community to reflect with them in a wash of electronic and acoustic sound. Since then, the collaborators have organized five local events and have been featured by the Ann Arbor Summer Festival, UMS, and the Ann Arbor District Library.
