Stateline Jazz Collective

The Stateline Jazz Collective is a recently formed 18 piece orchestra that was formed by current and former students of the Beloit Memorial Jazz program, the orchestra consists of students, alumni, and local musicians from Wisconsin and Illinois whose ages range anywhere from 15-26. The SJC focuses on preserving the tradition of historic composers and bandleaders such as Duke Ellington, Benny Carter, Thad Jones, and Charles Mingus while still leaving room for the advancement of music in modern times.
