Make Music Buda is a citywide celebration of music, creativity, and community held each year on June 21 as part of the global Make Music Day movement. As a newly designated Texas Music Friendly Community, Buda is proud to join cities around the world in turning everyday spaces into live music venues.

This free, all-day event brings together local musicians, schools, businesses, and residents for live performances across the city. From seasoned performers to first-time players and enthusiastic listeners, Make Music Buda invites everyone to be part of a day filled with music, connection, and community.

Make Music Buda is a celebration for everyone, and we want you to be a part of it!

Whether you are a seasoned performer, a music student, or someone who just loves to play for fun, Make Music Buda is your chance to share your sound with the community. On June 21, we are opening spaces across the city for free performances by local musicians and groups of all kinds.

We are also partnering with local businesses and venues to create even more opportunities to perform. If you are a downtown shop, restaurant, or community space, you can sign up to host live music and help turn Buda into one big stage.

How to Get Involved

• Musicians & Performers: Choose your preferred location and time slot, then sign up to perform solo or with your group.

• Venues & Businesses: Register your space to host one or more performances and be featured on our official event map.
