One Day. Our City. Your Melody.
Find your creative pulse this summer in Cedar Park, Texas. What began in Paris in 1982 as the Fête de la Musique has grown into a massive global phenomenon spanning over 1,000 cities across 120 countries. On June 21, we invite you to join this worldwide movement right here in our community!

As our public spaces transform into an open-air stage, you will experience the unique charm of a city-wide festival designed for everyone. It is the perfect way to escape the crowded streets of the surrounding metros and enjoy music with a local heart.

Expectations for Performers & Hosts
To ensure the day is a success for everyone, we ask that participants commit to the following:
- Team Up to Jam: Performers must have a confirmed agreement with a host location before setting up at their location to play.
- Keep the Music Flowing: If you commit to a time slot, we expect a live musical act of some kind for the entire slot.
- Flexible Lineups: Host locations are welcome to have a rotating lineup! You can have multiple acts throughout the day because there is no need to stick to just one performer.
- Promote Your Set: Make Music Alliance provides a suite of free marketing tools, but the best way to grow your audience is to be your own biggest fan! We ask all participants to help spread the word and invite their community to join the fun. Be sure to tag #visitCPTX so we can see all the great participation happening and for a chance to be shared on the Visit Cedar Park, Texas social channels!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Who can join the fun?
Everyone is invited to make music here in Cedar Park! Whether you are a seasoned professional or a total beginner, all participation is free and no auditions are required. Best of all, no tickets are needed for spectators. Just show up and enjoy the tunes!
Please keep in mind that all host business registrations go through an approval process. We prioritize performances located within or closely connected to the Cedar Park city limits to keep the celebration local.
How do I sign up and participate?
First, create your free profile on our matchmaking portal. Next, use the portal to browse and connect with your perfect counterpart. Once you make a match, use the chat to coordinate your details and finalize any technical needs. After the match is confirmed by both parties, your event is automatically added to our official map!
If you are a musician or a business interested in hosting, you can register through the official matchmaking portal here. This system makes it easy for performers and venues to find each other and coordinate logistics for a smooth, musical day.
What should performers know before they play?
Many of our host locations are non-traditional spaces like cozy storefronts or beautiful local parks, so power may not be available at every spot. In most cases, you will be responsible for providing your own gear, including instruments, amplifiers, and microphones. We recommend chatting directly with your host through our matchmaking site to make sure you have everything you need for a stellar set!

What should host locations provide?
All you need to do is register on the matchmaking site and provide a designated space for your musicians. Your main job is to keep the energy high for the entirety of your chosen time slot!
You do not need to host the same performer for your entire shift, but we do ask that you have live music of some kind happening during the specific hours you selected during registration.
