Sista’ Joy, also known as Rev. D. M. Foster, is a Spiritual Sound Healer, Sacred Storyteller, and soulful musician with deep Appalachian roots. An endearing old timer who radiates love, she’s down-to-earth and full of heart. Her performances feel like you're sitting on the porch with your grandma — warm, wise, and full of soul. Blending old-time, country gospel hymns, poetic recitations, and timeless spirituals, she plays guitar, banjo, Native flute, lyre harp, and drum. Raised in the hills of West Virginia, her music is rich in southern heritage, healing, and the Holy Spirit. Each offering becomes a sacred experience that invites listeners to breathe deeply, feel safe, and remember who they are in God.
