Anna Pastrana, a classically trained pianist and passionate educator from Chicago, brings over 7 years of teaching experience and a record of success in national and international competitions. Pablo Valladares, an award-winning pianist and dedicated educator from Quito, Ecuador, has captivated audiences across China, Italy, Austria, and the U.S. Pablo Valladares and Anna Pastrana are a dynamic married duo whose artistry unites South American passion with European tradition. In 2023, they embarked on a new chapter together, performing 4-hand piano duets at Roosevelt University and exploring a unique blend of repertoire from their respective homelands. Together, Pablo and Anna bring a wealth of performance experience, cultural heritage, and pedagogical insight to their collaborations. Their concerts are a celebration of their roots—bridging continents, honoring tradition, and introducing audiences to both beloved classical works and lesser-known treasures from South America and Europe.
