Sara Su Jones, violin; Tatyana Stepanova, piano

As duo partners for 17+ years, Sara Su Jones and Tatyana Stepanova have given recitals at the Harvard Club of New York as well as in Reykjavik, Iceland; Washington, DC; and Andover, MA. They appeared multiple times on "Live from WFMT" and have performed at the Driehaus Museum, Charles Gates Dawes House, and Fourth Presbyterian Church and in sold-out concerts at Glessner House, the Cliff Dwellers Club, and Newberry Library. Their eclectic, creative programming often highlights striking but little-known works. Sara Su, the 2022 American Prize winner, earned an AB (Economics) and JD, both with honors from Harvard. She worked as a management consultant at McKinsey and as a lawyer at Ropes & Gray before founding her educational-coaching business. Tatyana Stepanova, a native of Kyiv, is a noted performer and teacher, praised as a “fine” and “persuasive” pianist by the Chicago Tribune. She has performed with members of the CSO and Lyric Opera orchestra and teaches at MYA.
