Make Music Day

Caro Granner

caro granner (she/her) is an indie folk musician based in chicago, il. caro draws from a variety of sources to craft a lyrical, nostalgic, and heartfelt sound– from the folk and bluegrass sounds she grew up hearing on road trips with her parents, to the wordplay and storytelling of musicals which were her artistic home throughout adolescence, to the humor and melancholy of treasured artists like samia, jensen mcrae, phoebe bridgers, christian lee hutson, and andy shauf. when she is not making music, caro works in nonprofit and as a nanny. she can be found walking around with her headphones on, being bad at dungeons and dragons, and rewatching her favorite shows for the twentieth time. having been compared to artists like joni mitchell, lucy dacus, and sara bareilles, she is excited to expand her audience and reach new ears. thank you for listening!
