Make Music Fairfield

Tom Bittel (Dad's Noisy Basement)

Tom Bittel created Dad's Noisy Basement to perform as a one-man-band. Tom’s repertoire includes original vocal and instrumental tunes, plus a collection of songs culled from his collection of LPs, 45s, and 78s. His self-recorded backing tracks supplement the live vocal and guitar and include imaginative rhythm sounds and his own background harmonies. The effect is a virtual "Band of Toms." A performer and recording artist for more than 30 years, Tom's solo act has been featured in a music series at Bradley International Airport, The Greater Hartford Arts Council's Street Stages (2023 & 2024), The Cellar on Treadwell (Hamden, CT), some private parties, various Make Music Day performances (2023, 2025), Hartford's West End Porchfest (2024 & 2025), the No Cover Cafe series in Enfield, CT (2024, 2026), and some Farmers Markets.
