Dr. Laurel Larsen (piano) and Suzanne Bona (flute) have been musical collaborators for approximately three years. They embrace the opportunity to share their love of music with both new and seasoned listeners, and they are especially passionate about promoting and performing music by underrepresented composers. Their programs have featured music by Florence Price, William Grant Still, Samuel Coleridge Taylor, Teresa Carreño, and Judith Lang Zaimont. Laurel Larsen is Professor of Music at Western Connecticut State University, where she serves as Department Chair. Suzanne Bona is the host & executive producer of Sunday. Baroque, a nationally syndicated radio program she originated on WSHU Public Radio in 1987. Sunday Baroque is currently heard on more than 300 public radio stations across the country by more than a half million weekly listeners. Guests are invited to roam the grounds to the wafting sounds of Laurel and Suzanne's music. Limited formal seating.
