Los Stigol

Los Stigol is Southern California rumba flamenca group inspired by the gipsy guitar traditions of Spain and Southern France, echoing the spirit of the Gipsy Kings while crafting a sound uniquely their own. Led by singer, song writer and rhythm guitarist, Daniel Steagall of Tijuana, Mexico, whose booming, operatic vocal style anchors the band’s signature sound, the band also includes bassist Aaron Vandenburgh of the I.E. whose steady, melodic bass lines shape the group’s rhythmic foundation. Lead guitarists Jaime Michel of Guadalajara, Mex and son Andrew Michel of O.C. add intricate nylon‑string fire to the group’s romantic, emotional, and high‑energy style. The band blends heartfelt, original songwriting with select genre‑classic covers and creates a Latin‑driven acoustic sound that is both intimate and electrifying — romantic yet powerful, rooted in tradition yet boldly original. Their debut demo album, Stigol – Con Mucho Corazón, is available on major streaming platforms.
