Country Mother Trucker honors the rich history of classic country music while respecting the roots of local punk culture in Southern California, creating a sound that is pure unapologetic country. This 2 piece Country/Cowpunk Band from Southern California was founded by Jerome Ryan and Oliver Althoen in response to the radio-friendly commercial country coming out of Nashville in modern days. Paying respect to the roots of outlaw Country music represented by Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings and Willie Nelson, Jerome writes the songs and Oliver lays down the slide guitar.
