As part of Make Music Day on June 21, Sousapalooza is a nationwide event inviting woodwind, brass, and percussion players all ages and experience levels to come together for an informal sight-reading session featuring the music of John Philip Sousa. Sunday, June 21 Fuller Avenue Church (1239 Fuller Ave. SE, Grand Rapids) 3:30 pm—Participant Call Time 4:00 pm—Concert (FREE & open to public; approximately an hour) Participants are encouraged to register in advance, but “walk-ups” are welcome.
