Dennis Collins Foster
Dennis Collins Foster is a composer, songwriter, and singer, who composes and performs music in a variety of different genres, from pop, folk, and rock to patriotic and religious music, and orchestral music. He uses a variety different instruments, including guitar and piano, and sings vocals in English and Italian. He loves to compose and perform music related to the culture of Huntsville and the Cumberland Plateau and seeks to help Huntsville have its own musical identity across the genres of music. He has produced seven albums of music since retiring from NASA in 2011, including a number of singles, with themes about hope, love, joy, and romance. One album was composed to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Apollo Program. All music is produced in his home studio with keyboards and guitars. Dennis Collins Foster is a native of New Orleans. Some two of his albums are on sale at the Huntsville Museum of Art.
