Step Movement

STEP stands for Supporting Them Express their Passion. We are an internationally and competitively ranked step team and education program. Our mission is to cultivate youth in expressing their passions for community, collaboration, and creativity through the art of stepping. We are a community-based step team composed of members 4 to 19 years old, bringing the art of step to the Greater Kansas City area through entertainment via performances and education via our curriculum. We strive to raise awareness of the art of stepping into collegiate and career ventures. We pride ourselves on providing our members opportunities for academic support, community services, and mentorship. STEP Movement also provides consulting and coaching to K-12 school-affiliated teams across the Greater Kansas City area.
