PO Sim Head and Harry Brewster

Born in Hong Kong, pianist Po Sim Head is dedicated to promoting underrepresented composers, particularly from Latin America. She has performed internationally in Hong Kong, Thailand, Portugal, Peru, Colombia, and the United States. Holding degrees in composition, performance, and musicology, including a doctorate from the University of Kansas, she teaches at Metropolitan Community College–Kansas City, maintains a private piano studio, and remains active as a performer, presenter, and writer. Massachusetts native Harry Brewster is a Kansas City–based baritone. He has performed rarely heard works and premiered music by living composers in both Boston and Kansas City. Harry is bass section leader at Grace and Holy Trinity Cathedral and looks forward to making his debut with the Lawrence Opera Theater this summer. He holds a B.A. in History with a minor in Music Performance from Boston University, where he will return this fall to pursue a Master of Music in Performance.
