Angel Te’L, known professionally as “Just Angel,” is a Kansas City-based vocalist, bandleader, and recording artist whose work lives at the intersection of soul, jazz, R&B, gospel, rock, and theatrical storytelling. With over 20 years of performance experience, she has built a reputation for her powerful voice, emotional depth, and ability to connect with audiences in a way that feels both intimate and expansive. As the front-woman of Just Angel & The Wades, Angel leads a dynamic, multi-genre ensemble performing throughout Kansas City’s live music scene. Her work spans stages from intimate venues to festivals and theatrical productions, including standout roles in Pippin. She has also performed under the direction of Grammy-winning conductor Craig Hella Johnson, further expanding her artistic range and professional experience. Angel is also an independent recording artist, with multiple EPs and singles released and a forthcoming album scheduled for 2026.
