Stephanie Skyes is an up and coming entertainer from Kansas City. She discovered an interest in art at a very young age and is often referred as a connoisseur of fine arts and music. She studied vocal arts and creative writing. During drama and theater studies, she began to grow and develop her skills for live stage performances. After performing at school and church, Stephanie’s first professional performance was at the Blue Room. Though she has performed in venues across the United States, her favorite venue is Kansas City’s 18th & Vine Jazz District which she often refers to as home. Stephanie sings and studies all forms of music with a huge respect for jazz. She is highly inspired by Kansas City’s rich jazz history as well as Sarah Vaughan, Ella Fitzgerald and Charlie Parker.
