Tom Kellar

Tom Kellar is a songwriting night owl who crafts most of his work in the small hours between 2 and 5 a.m. He’s a big fan of outsider art and open tunings and when approaching words prefers a collage-styled layering of lyrics. A song may take 2 minutes or two years to complete. Once done he records the tune into a small home recorder and moves on. He’s currently sitting on a backlog of more than 1000 songs and as he likes to say, he’s just getting started.
