Darrell, a 10-time award-nominated and internationally acclaimed singer-songwriter from East Tennessee, captivates audiences with his dynamic style. A member of the International Singer Songwriters’ Association and the Tennessee Songwriters’ Association, he ventured to Nashville, where he gained recognition as an up-and-coming writer with numerous appearances at the Bluebird Cafe. Despite Nashville’s inability to embrace his eclectic style, Darrell’s talent shone through when he won Musician of the Year at the Fairplay Country Music Awards in 2023 and co-wrote the #1 song “Hope Wins” on the Independent Music Chart. Influenced by Allman Brothers, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Steve Earle, and Outlaw Country legends like Waylon and Willie, Darrell’s music blends Folk, Americana, and Country Rock. Currently residing in Pikeville, TN, he continues to write, perform, and enjoy life with his amazing wife.
