Sam Hatmaker

Sam Hatmaker is a singer songwriter raised in Knoxville by a stand-up comedian and an actress, and writes vignettes that are unusual and often contemptuous. She’s unabashedly wry, worldly, and scrappy, eschewing typical heartbreak clichés for themes such as the demise of the American Dream and the loss of innocence. At just 16, Sam made Nashville her new home, where she inked her first deal with Warner Chappell Music, releasing her debut EP produced by Grammy winner, Nathan Chapman. Her album “American Portrait” is set to release in 2026.
