My performance experience has only been limited to the local open mic nights so far but it’s grown on me. It took many nights to get used to singing and playing in front of people but I’m glad I did! Growing up, I was exposed to some variety of music which included classic country and classic rock. I eventually stumbled on the golden oldies and taking them to heart; Buddy Holly, Johnny Cash, and Elvis Presley are among my favorites. Blues is another genre I keep close to me as it is a way to express myself and explore influences like Stevie Ray Vaughan and Kenny Wayne Shepherd.
