Step into the world of invention and creativity at our hands-on STEM event, where participants will design and build their very own giant floor keyboard using the Makey Makey invention kit!
Using everyday conductive materials and simple coding, attendees will work in teams to construct large-scale, interactive floor keyboards—think musical Twister meets engineering challenge. Participants will learn the basics of circuitry, conductivity, and input/output systems while exploring how Makey Makey turns objects like foil and cardboard into functioning keyboard keys.
This fun, family-friendly workshop encourages collaboration, problem-solving, and creative thinking. Perfect for curious minds in grades 4 and up, no prior experience required—just bring your imagination and be ready to jump, stomp, and play your way into STEM discovery!
