3rd Annual Andy Mackie Memorial Harmonica Blow-Out!

100+ harmonica players from age 1 to 80+, from brand new beginners to seasoned players will come together for a free harmonica lesson followed by our 3rd and re-starting traditions of annual harmonica blow-out on the plaza at the edge of Admiralty Inlet on the beautiful Salish Sea (aka Puget Sound). Named for Andy Mackie, local music hero, beloved music educator, instrument maker and harmonica give-away angel who believed EVERYONE should have and learn to play the harmonica. For many years Andy held the Guinness World Book of Records for assembling the largest-ever harmonica band (then 300+ near Seattle). We gifted 100 harmonicas at our first two Make Music Day AMM blow-outs in 2017 and 2018 and are excited to bring this traditions back, in Andy's memory, to our community.
