The Salado Music Friendly Community Board, invites you to be a part of the largest bucket drumming circle located on a historic site!! Young or old, musically talented or not, come to the historic Salado Civic Center to drum with friends, family, neighbors and even strangers.
The drum circle will be led by a very special guest who has played drums professionally for famous bands. The Salado Music Friendly Community Board and Make Music Alliance will be providing drumsticks for folks to beat on any object they can dream up.
No musical talent required. The Bucket Drumming Session will start with simple beats and progress to two-part rhythms and impromptu drumming.
If you have a drum, bring it! If you don’t, get creative! Bring a 5 gallon bucket, metal bowl, cooking pot and/or lid, whatever you can think of. Let’s put Salado on the worldwide music map for the largest drum circle ever created on a historic site!
