Tyese Brown

Native New Jerseyan and classically trained pianist, Tyëse Andrea Brown has created and reinterpreted music her entire life. Her work often features piano-driven improvisations, arrangements and compositions that highlight her background in education and music therapy. Originally using the stage name, TyeseAndrea, Tyese now performs under the moniker Tye B. As Tye B, she is recognized as an innovative pianist, composer and arranger. Her unique, unconventional, genre-blending style fuses classical, jazz, and original contemporary styles. Along with her occasional distinctive vocals, her music elicits an unexpected gumbo of color, texture and sound.
