calyx! is a musician based out of North Jersey, and studied jazz at Montclair State University. Their band is comprised entirely of other musicians with formal studies in jazz and classical, but with other entirely versatile and diverse backgrounds. Calyx is legally her real name, on her birth certificate and everything.
