Do you make music with your colleagues at work? You are in good company.
Around the world, organizers of this year’s Make Music Day (or Fête de la Musique) are featuring performances by corporate bands and choirs, shining a light on the musical creativity hidden behind a cubicle near you.
Bands and choirs at all levels are joining the inaugural Workplace Harmony, and will perform on Make Music Day (June 21) or during the preceding workweek (June 15-19). Afterwards, they will send videos of their performances to our panel of music industry judges, who will provide feedback and award prizes.
The grand prize winner will be announced from on stage at the Office Choir of the Year competition on July 2nd at St Botolph-without-Bishopsgate in the City of London, UK.
