Jay Silva

Jay Silva has been swimming in the vibrant New London musical sea for over a decade, hopping between instruments and genres and loving every minute of it. If a band would let him plug in, he was in — from the pirate-folk frenzy of The Weird Beards, to the gritty indie garage rock of Straight to VHS, the genre-hopping grooves of Jampson Jubilee, and the rhythm section of the art-rock duo Pocket Vinyl. Now a proud dad of two amazing little boys, Jay’s latest gigs include bedtime concerts, diaper-changing drum solos, and the occasional living room mosh pit.
