Haitian Folkloric Dance and Music for Kids
In this workshop, you'll explore various Haitian folkloric dances in relation to the subject of liberation. The dances include Petwo (a dance tied to Haiti's revolutionary history), Ibo (a dance of resistance representing the tribe of the same name), and Nago (a warrior dance). Participants will learn how the energy and stories of these dances can apply to the fight for liberation in today's world.
