Joseph Darcourt

American-born Peruvian-Taiwanese cellist Joseph Darcourt has been praised for his depth of musical expression(LAF). A Juilliard-trained musician, Joseph has received prestigious honors such as the President's Lifetime Achievement Award from President Biden and the Daily Point of Light Award from President George H.W. Bush and the President’s Education Award from President Donald Trump. After debuting at Carnegie Hall at age 12, he founded Olifeclass.org following Covid, advocating for mental health through classical music. At 16, Joseph began his groundbreaking neuroscience research at Columbia University, exploring the power of music, with his paper currently under review by Nature. His mission is to inspire social change by normalizing the therapeutic potential of music, sowing the seeds of well-being in the process through the simple yet powerful secret he has discovered.
