Cape June

The band Cape June is made up of Lindsey Jones and Mariel Max. The band was formed in 2024 out of a shared mission for environmental activism and the arts. Lindsey comes to the group as a classically trained musician with degrees in violin performance and conducting and almost a PhD in musicology. Mariel Max is a documentary film graduate. She found her love of songwriting while quarantining in 2020. In 2022, she released her first EP. The duo has special synergy on stage and their music making is fueled by fresh air, chocolate and friendship.
