Cactus Rose NYC is a native americana trio featuring indigenous vocalist/model/activist Kandia Crazy Horse (Pamunkey), indigenous guitarist Lonnie Harrington (Seminole/Shawnee/Choctaw/Cherokee) & guitarist Nico Zaca. Influenced by Richie Havens, Buffalo Springfield, Cherokee folksinger Karen Dalton, and Tuscarora/Taino/black icon Pura Fé, their music focuses on experiences of urban natives and the rest of Indian Country. Cactus Rose NYC's debut EP Live From Lenapehoking: Field Recordings is available now from Bandcamp.
