BK Treble Women's Choir

BK Treble Women's Choir is a multigenerational treble choir dedicated to excellence in choral singing. Based in Brooklyn, NY, we seek to enrich our members and audiences by performing a varied, vibrant, and timely repertoire, with an emphasis on music by contemporary women and other underrepresented composers. Our music reflects a broad range of human experience, and we are dedicated to building a shared vision of inclusion, community, and justice. We aim to open minds and hearts through our music, and through our presence as a group and as individuals, to make a positive impact on our communities. We intentionally strive to create a welcoming and safe space for women and gender minorities from all backgrounds and levels of musical knowledge. Ever open to examining our identity and stretching our own boundaries, we celebrate partnerships with other groups, such as temples, nursing homes, women’s shelters, sports teams, and other arts organizations.
