Street Motet No.1
After the successful premiere of Street Motet No. 1, a highlight of our 2024 winter solstice celebrations, we’re thrilled to announce the summer solstice encore of Street Motet No. 1 for New York City, composed by Pete M. Wyer, and originally premiered during our 2024 Make Music Winter celebration. This highly original piece, composed by Pete M. Wyer and commissioned by Make Music, will bring together small vocal ensembles to march through the Upper West Side in a living, moving soundscape that concludes with a powerful all-ensemble performance at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine, conducted by James John.
