Rugby Library is a beloved civic institution in East Flatbush. When Rugby opened in 1957, its interior was perhaps the most colorful of any library in New York, with modern furniture in bright reds, yellows and blues. Rugby Library underwent a comprehensive renovation and reopened in July 2021.
