In 1982, the French Ministry of Culture launched Make Music Day, also known as Fête De La Musique, on the summer solstice. They urged everyone to step outside and make music. From professionals to curious onlookers, people joined the celebration. Free performances echoed across the city, from morning to night, in parks, gardens, streets, rooftops, restaurants, and shops. Now, over 40 years later, Make Music Day resonates in over a thousand cities across dozens of countries worldwide!

Each June 21, Orange County rocks Make Music Day! Unleash your inner musician – all skill levels welcome. Join us in celebrating Orange County’s diverse musical talent, passion, and unique culture. Don’t miss the chance to be part of the festivities!
