Groove to the beats spun by our talented DJ, Gabe Mestas / DJ Stardust and enjoy a lively atmosphere perfect for families and individuals alike. This program is near the museum entrance, note that shade is limited and sun protection is encouraged.
Tickets are not required to celebrate the music played outside the museum. Early Childhood Music Explorations at the Children’s Museum of Phoenix

Experience a delightful and interactive music event at the Children’s Museum of Phoenix! Early Childhood Music Explorations, perfect for children ages 0-8. Families can sing, play, and dance while learning music basics in a fun and engaging environment. Children can play introductory instruments like tambourines and explore rhythm through body movements, including hand claps and foot stomps.
- 10 –10:45 a.m. Higher Octave Healing starts the day with their The Start with Music program, geared toward ages 0-5. These classes are provided at no cost to the participants, and each child in attendance will receive instruments and props to use during class.
- 11 –2 p.m. Open for all families to join in the musical fun outside the museum entrance. Explore and differentiate between various musical instruments and the sounds and tones they produce. Children can play introductory instruments such as tambourines, mini guiro, rhythm sticks, triangles, xylophone, egg shakers, and drum pads.

Celebrate the rich musical heritage of Canyon Records artists at the Heard Museum! Enjoy live performances in the indoor Foyer of Steele Auditorium.
The event will feature a special performance by Grammy®-nominee Aaron White (Northern Ute/Diné), who expresses the many facets of love, hope, yearning, and commitment through his original melodies for the traditional flute.
Drinks and food are permitted in the foyer. Feel free to stop by the Cantina for a snack, drink, or grab-n-go to enjoy during the performance.

- 4 – 5 PM Unforgettable performance by Rosie’s House mariachi faculty member, Michael Flores and his trio of professional musicians.
- 5 – 5:30 PM Get the body moving with our Body Percussion Dance Party, perfect for all ages
- 5:30 – 6 PM Experience the vibrant energy of The Medina Sisters mariachi band, composed of Rosie’s House Mariachi students Mia, Marbella, Adamanti, and Gigi.
- 6 – 6:30 PM Enjoy the soulful melodies of The NashDivAZ, where young jazz enthusiasts aged 10–22 showcase their passion for music through improvised solos and well-known jazz tunes.
- 6:30 – 7 PM Discover the talent of our community at the Student and Faculty Showcase, where students and faculty present diverse performances.
- 7 – 8 PM Feel the vibrant Latin jazz and Afro-Cuban rhythms of Josiel Perez & Cuben Connections, featuring Rosie’s House faculty Kristal Ramsey.
