Jim (guitar, vocals) says: "You've stumbled upon Salem trio Calm Party. The bumper sticker read, 'Real musicians have day jobs,' and we are no exception. Shutting up and playing, we perform a mix of items originating from the quirkier side of the classic rock spectrum along with whatever else drifts from our punky cakewalk. Ween, Queen, Fr.Frances Bean, the 80s and 90s scene, she was just seventeen... Our originals tend to be songs we made ourselves. There's a little something for almost everyone." Christa (drums, vocals) says: "We met as the newbies at RiverCity Rockstar Academy, and formed calm party to have a space for fun and friendship amidst our busy lives. We enjoyed it so much that learning a couple open mic songs turned into a year and a half as a band and a set of uplifting songs with emotional energy and power. We hope you have as much fun listening as we do making music!" Bryan (bass) says: "I just want to play the bass."
