The Finn Yang Sextet

Finn Yang is a composer, arranger and jazz pianist working out of the Pacific Northwest. He has played at venues such as Salem’s Historic Grand Theater, studied with Steinway Artist Randy Porter and Grammy winner John Daversa, and worked under the PJCE Young Jazz Composers mentorship. His sextet is comprised of some of the best young jazz musicians from the Willamette Valley, including Jack Parr (@probably_jack_parr_music) on baritone saxophone, Jerrica Fashant (jerrifashant_music) on bass, Caleb Peterson-Hunt (@calebpetersonhunt_drums) on drums, Brett Shaver (@brett_sax) on alto saxophone, and Gabriel Alexander (@gabrielalexander285) on trombone. Their debut album, "Public Market", recorded at the famous Hallowed Halls studio in Portland is releasing later this year.
