Gilded Shores (Ben Wiebe & Ruth Ames)

Hello! My wife (Ruth Ames) and I (Ben Wiebe) are experienced musicians looking to play a duet downtown on Make Music Day. I know it's a little late in the game, but the 21st is my wife's 40th birthday and I'm hoping to surprise her by having us perform that day. We are a self-contained duet ready to play up to 45 minutes of music. While we just started professionally performing our duet, we play in the local band DarkHorse which has performed over 150 shows in the Willamette Valley over the past decade. My wife has a degree in musical performance from the U of O and we have been playing music together for over 10 years. I have included the website for Darkhorse to give you an idea of the music we play. I apologize that we don't currently have a website for our duet as we just played our first professional gig last weekend. That said, we will have an internet presence soon.
