At age 5 Johnny came home from kindergarten with a song in his head he had learned that day. He went to the piano where he had watched his mother play, lifted the key lid and with one finger played "Red River Valley". Johnny went on to play in bands at venues across the Twin Cities. His music career included Dueling Pianos at Lil' Dittys MOA, and The Piano Guys - billed as America's First Wireless Dueling Pianos Act playing minor league baseball and hockey venues from Albuquerque NM to East Coast and thru Canada. It did not occur to a child of five to be thankful for the gift of playing piano by ear. Today Johnny is grateful to God and will share his gift of voice and piano playing and singing from many genres of music including Jerry Lee Lewis, Elton John, Billy Joel, Ray Charles, Kenny Rogers, Lionel Richie movie hits and many more.
