Organ Concert with Elizabeth Harrison

Elizabeth Harrison received bachelor's degrees from Duke University and Southern College, a Master of Music degree from New England Conservatory, and a Doctorate of Musical Arts degree from Stanford University. She has served on the faculties of Stanford University, Westminster College (New Wilmington, PA), Geneva College, Oklahoma City University, East Central Oklahoma University, and most recently as Coordinator and Professor of Music at Pfeiffer University in Misenheimer, NC. She has taught courses in studio organ, organ literature, church music, music theory, and music history. From 1988 to 1991, Dr. Harrison studied at the North German Organ Academy in Bunderhee, Germany, where she was chosen as the Organ Assistant to help with teaching. Since returning to the United States, she has distinguished herself as one of the leaders in Baroque organ pedagogy and Baroque keyboard music.
