P.B&J
Although the name P.B&J comes from the first letter of each group member’s first names, the joining of fruit preserves with a spreadable paste made from peanuts is still part of the show. “We dress up in sandwich costumes and throw out peanut butter and jelly sandwiches as part of our act,” said guitarist Peter Anderson, who is backed in the band by the B&J rhythm section of drummer Bobby Wonderlich and bassist Jake Ericson. They have released five full-length albums and another is on the way. “We are currently going in the direction of playing harder metal music,” Anderson said, “but still like to slow it down for a song or two.”
