Make Music Day Topanga 2026 is on!

Hey Music Lovers, We’re dusting off the planning tools and preparing for Make Music Topanga, coming up on June 21, 2026. This time around, it’s on a Sunday. And your gonna want to invite your Dad (or your kids) because its also Fathers Day.

Be sure to bring an instrument because there will be jam circles going on.

This year the theme is actually making music yourself, and therefore, people are encouraged to bring their instruments or whatever they chose to express themselves musically with.

So if your Dad is a picker this might be just the place to let him shine and soak in the spotlight, and perhaps play with some great musicians he might never have had the chance to play with otherwise. 

Jam spots are going to be open to all, no sign up required, and will be circles for acoustic with a round Robin format. (Stay tuned for electric jam info)

You you just circle up and play a song then pass to your left. The next person can pick a song or pass to the left.

Same with solos. Take a solo and pass to your left. The next person can solo, or pass. When the person who called the tune lifts a foot into the center of the circle it signals the end of the song is approaching…one more time and end.

There’s no sign up for the open jam spots, although if you want to have a spot in one of the staged venues you will have to sign up ahead of time.
