Uncle John's Band
Uncle John's Band is a Franklin, Vermont-based cast of musical characters that plays everything from Allmans to Zevon (Warren, that is), with a few originals sprinkled in here and there. The band features an uncle named John and a nephew named Marc, but they don't play the Grateful Dead song that everyone assumes they're named for. It's not that they don't like the song, it's just that they haven't added it to their list of 80-plus songs (and counting).
