Open band led by Naomi Morse ~ fiddle, Arthur Davis ~ piano & Emmet McGowan ~ drums (Bring an instrument and join us!) Caller Imogen Mills teaching and guiding everyone through the dances. A fun event! No special clothing, footwear, or experience required. You’re welcome to play, dance, listen, sit or chat and enjoy that cold beverage you brought along. Contra Dancing is a traditional New England folk dance style in which couples dance in two facing lines, following the instructions of a caller. Potluck snacks after the dancing. Feel free to bring simple finger food to share. Bring a beer, a wine, water, or whatever you fancy. Joining the band? You get in free. Dancing? Adults: $12, Children: $6, Households: $25
