Charlie and Tom Jordan
Charlie and Tom Jordan are a father-and-son duo featuring Charlie on fiddle and Tom on keyboard. The two have played music all their lives. Charlie began playing the violin while a student back in the 1960s in Burlington, Vermont. Today he also plays cello and mandolin. Tom plays piano, bass and guitar, beginning in grade school in Pittsburg, New Hampshire. Both have played in the Celtic ensemble Islay Mist Ceilidh, a mainstay at First Night North and elsewhere around the region. They also play in an old-timey group called North Woods and a pop band called Retro. Additionally, Tom has been a longtime member of the northern New Hampshire rock band Rock On. While living in New Hampshire, they have many connections to the Green Mountain State--our neighbors just across the Connecticut River.
