Dahg
Dahg (Hebrew for fish) is Temple Sinai’s house Rock Shabbat band. We’ve been playing Rock Shabbat services 3 or 4 times a year at Temple Sinai since 2013, occasionally playing for weddings, bar/bat mitzvahs, and at non-religious events. The eight of us (drums, percussion, keyboards, guitars, bass, and vocalists) play, write, and/or adapt music from all genres of popular music from the 1950s to the 2020s. Our next Rock Shabbat at Temple Sinai is on August 14th and, for Make Music Vermont, we are inviting folks to be a “fly on the wall” while we rehearse at Temple Sinai on June 21st. We will rehearse songs from our Rock Shabbat set from 4:30 to 6:30 pm, and then open things up to requests until 7:15 pm. Come listen, sing along, and (most importantly) enjoy some music that may be familiar to you and some music that we can guarantee you have never heard before!
