Make Music on the Summer Solstice!
For the Love of making music!
Whether on a stage, porch, backyard, in the park or on the sidewalk, Anyone and Everyone of Any Skillset is invited to play music in Woodstock on June 21st, 2026—solo or with your band!
You may find some folks to jam with!
Whether you are world renowned or a secret-shower-singer, you are invited to bring your musical expression to life!

As Make Music Day continues to spread quickly in the United States, Woodstock, the town known across the globe for more than inspiring the infamous Woodstock Festival, is adding live outdoor music from our community to the worldwide celebration for the second year in a row!
❖ Perform or lead a musical demonstration—Let us know where you’ll be playing, or if you need help with finding a location.
❖ Become a Host/Venue–Music can happen anywhere. In an office building lobby, a park, a bar, a tire shop. Let us know if you’re interested in hosting musicians. All they need is space and maybe electricity.
❖Join the MMW Chapter–We welcome musicians, organizations, and businesses to join the design from the ground up. Reach out if you would like to join the team.
❖ Volunteer–Join the volunteer team, motivated individuals welcome!

❖ Sponsor–Make Music Day performers aren’t paid, but for bands who rely on paying gigs, sponsoring a touring artist is a great way to involve them.
❖Consider hosting a band and paying them their going rate to perform. Embrace the tip jar, hat or open instrument case.
❖ Make a donation and add your Logo to the www.makemusicday.org/woodstock website events and publications
❖ Come Out!–Check out the map and bring out the family to take in some music.
